Jim Vines - American Magician

Jim Vines is an American magician based in New York City. An award-winning sleight-of-hand artist known for his pure visual magic and interactive style, Jim has performed in 11 countries and at hundreds of venues, including theaters and comedy clubs, in the United States and internationally. He co-stars in the hit NYC family magic show the Broadway Magic Hour, which delights audiences of all ages every weekend with its fast-paced mix of illusions, comedy, mind-reading, and audience involvement.

Performance Background
Jim discovered magic at the age of 12 and over the years developed his own unique performing style. Jim enjoys helping the audience find that place inside them that still believes in magic. His work focuses on connection to an audience, humor, and shared moments of awe. Jim received top honors at the 2017 FISM North American Championships, part of the World Championships of Magic. He brought his award-winning act to Penn & Teller: Fool Us (Season 10, Episode 17).

Stage

Stage Magic is for larger audiences and involves grand illusions and mysteries that can be appreciated from any seat in the theater. Stage Magic is where you might see someone float in the air or get sawed in half!
